Terms of use
Last updated 17 October 2026
These terms are an agreement between you and Gourhit Ventures Private Limited, 808B, DLF Prime Tower, Pocket F, Okhla Phase I, Okhla Industrial Estate, New Delhi, Delhi 110020, India ("Gourhit Ventures", "we", "us"), which publishes Mela on Google Play under the developer name A3K.com. By installing or using the Mela app, you accept them.
What Mela is
Mela brings the toys of India's melas to your phone. The first is Bhool Bhulaiya, the wooden maze you tilt to roll every goli into the centre. Mela works offline and has no accounts.
Free, with no money involved
Mela is free. There is nothing to buy in the app, and there are no ads.
- No game in Mela has an entry fee, a stake or a prize.
- Your times, records and streak are just for fun. They have no money value and can't be exchanged for anything.
Using the app
We give you a personal licence, which you can't pass on to anyone else, to use Mela on phones you own or use, for your own enjoyment. Please don't:
- copy, sell, rent or otherwise pass on the app;
- reverse-engineer or modify it, except where the law allows;
- use it to break the law.
Play safely
Hold your phone firmly while you tilt it. Don't play while driving, cycling or walking in traffic.
Children
If you are under 18, please use Mela with the permission of a parent or guardian.
Ownership
The app, its name, its look, its sounds and its boards belong to Gourhit Ventures. The open-source software and fonts in it belong to their authors, under their own licences, which you can read in the app under Settings > Licences.
Your data
What the app keeps, and where, is set out in our privacy policy.
Updates
We may update Mela, and change or remove its features. The app is provided "as is": we work to make it run well, but we don't promise that it is free of errors or that it works on every phone.
Our liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, or for the loss of your times, records or streak. Nothing in these terms limits a liability that the law doesn't allow to be limited.
Changes to these terms
If we change these terms, we will update them and their date. If a future version of Mela adds features that need new terms, such as accounts, we will show you those terms before the features apply to you.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts at New Delhi, India have exclusive jurisdiction.
Language
These terms are also in Hindi. If the two differ, the English version applies.
